Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 99 brings an unexpected and terrifying twist—Noya isn’t even close to done. Just as Megumi and Yuji start gaining momentum in their desperate battle,
the cursed assassin reveals his true form, sending shockwaves through the battlefield.
The chapter begins mid-combat, with Megumi’s mutated Divine Dog managing to wound Noya—an impressive feat, but one that proves short-lived. With a grin and a whispered incantation,
Noya sheds his human-like form and evolves into a monstrous cursed being made of twisting sinew, exposed nerves,
and layered cursed inscriptions.

Now able to phase through solid matter and compress cursed energy into silent explosions, Noya becomes nearly untouchable. His attacks no longer make sound—and his body moves like liquid shadow.
Megumi, recognizing they won’t survive without risk, activates a forbidden extension of Chimera Shadow Garden,
drawing from the same pool of dark energy Sukuna once manipulated. The result is unstable,
powerful—and eating away at him.
Yuji pleads with Megumi to stop, but Megumi growls:

But just as Megumi prepares his final strike, Noya phases behind Yuji, preparing to kill him instantly. In a flash, Yuji uses a sealed cursed talisman—an object Gojo told him never to activate without certainty.
The chapter ends with a massive burst of cursed light and a close-up of Noya—actually afraid for the first time.
