Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 150: Cursed Creation – The Making of the Second Equalizer

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 150 kicks off a brand-new arc in the True Jujutsu Era: The Equalizer Conflict. The story now pivots from explosive battles to existential confrontation as Yuji sets out to find and stop his mysterious “mirror,” revealed in Chapter 149.

The chapter opens with Yuji leaving the shrine under Toji’s spectral gaze, heading west toward the abandoned Kuragami Province,

where cursed energy has spiked—matching the Equalizer resonance he felt earlier.

Meanwhile, back at Jujutsu High, Yuki and Shoko dive into forbidden archives and discover an ancient codex titled:

“The Balance Theory: Equalization Through Dual Birth”

Inside is a ritual recorded only once in history—a method of artificially manifesting a cursed soul meant to counterbalance a naturally gifted one. In other words:

Yuji wasn’t the only product of fate—his counterpart was a curse-forged reflection, created to undo him.

Cut to a hidden lab beneath Kyoto—scientists and curse users crowd around a sealed chamber as the second Equalizer meditates, suspended midair in cursed liquid. Black markings cover their body—each one stolen from ancient techniques.

The cult leader speaks:
“Yuji was a mistake of chance. You are our answer. You are certainty.”

As Yuji reaches the edge of Kuragami, he’s met a familiar presence—Megumi Fushiguro, who warns:

“If you go any further, you’ll find the truth. Just know—it might break you before you even fight.”

The final panel shows Yuji standing at the entrance to an ancient cursed facility, engraved with two symbols: one matching his birth mark, the other inverted.

Chapter 150 shifts the series into a terrifying philosophical direction. Gege Akutami asks: What happens when fate is no longer natural,

but manufactured? And can a soul built from hate truly stop?
