Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 115: The Silence After – Victory Echoes Into Darkness
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 115 slows the pace—but only for a moment. Following the spiritual triumph over Kogane-no-Ō, Megumi and Yuji return to the waking world, but their bodies and souls show the cost of the battle. This isn’t just a cool-down chapter—it’s a chilling breath before a deeper plunge into chaos.
Megumi wakes in the Zen’in compound under Shoko’s care, alive but unstable. His cursed energy is fluctuating wildly, as if still adjusting after forcibly ejecting Kogane’s presence. Yuji, pale and visibly drained, watches silently from the doorway.
Gojo finally enters the scene, having stood back to let the soul-link ritual play out. His voice is calm—but his eyes say everything.
“You did well. Both of you. But we’re not out of it yet.”
As Gojo speaks with the elders, a new danger looms. Across Japan, cursed tremors ripple through multiple zones. Talismans crack. Burial sites rupture. And in the heart of one forgotten battlefield… an ancient, sealed structure splits open, releasing nothing but black mist and a low, echoing laugh.
Yuta and Maki investigate, only to find cursed markings at the site that don’t match any recorded curse lineage. Shoko warns:
“This might not be connected to Kogane. It might be… older.”
Meanwhile, Megumi stares at his own reflection—and briefly, for just a second—his shadow flickers with a crown.
The final page shows the Hollow Tithe cult regrouping, shattered but not destroyed. Their new leader is unseen—only referred to as “The Mouth of the Abyss.”
Chapter 115 is equal parts epilogue and prologue. Gege Akutami expertly transitions us from emotional resolution into suspenseful foreshadowing. Kogane may be gone, but something even more ancient—and much more malicious—has taken notice.
