The chapter opens with Megumi still unconscious, being transported by Yuji to a temporary safe zone arranged by Gojo’s network. His body is stable, but his shadow technique is reacting violently, flickering with corrupted energy. Yuji notices the darkness around Megumi won’t return to his control—it’s resisting,
fighting something unseen.
Meanwhile, the narrative shifts to a forbidden shrine buried beneath the oldest layers of the Culling Game colony. There, ancient talismans crumble and cursed bones crack open. The entity previously glimpsed is now partially revealed—a colossal figure drap in decayed ritual garb,
with a third eye in its chest and a jaw that splits sideways.
Through narration and Kenjaku’s observation, we learn the entity’s name: Kogane-no-Ō – The Golden King,
a prehistoric cursed seale during the first sorcerer era, even before Ryomen Sukuna.
Kenjaku, watching via cursed surveillance, murmurs:
