Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 104: Echoes of the Abyss – After Noya’s Fall, a Darker Threat Lurks
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 104 brings a moment of silence—but not peace. With Noya defeated and sealed within Megumi’s cursed domain, the battlefield finally quiets. But for our heroes, the victory feels fragile. Wounds remain, inside and out.
The chapter opens with Megumi collapsed, surrounded by shadows that begin to dissipate with the end of his extended domain technique. Yuji carries him to shelter. Both are bruised, bloodied, and emotionally drained.
As Megumi awakens, there’s no triumphant speech. Only a few quiet words to Yuji:
“Thank you… for not letting me lose myself.”
It’s a calm, reflective chapter. Gojo appears briefly via a projected message from a remote veil point, warning Yuji and Megumi not to stay in the area. “Something darker has shifted,” he says. “A cursed force older than Sukuna is waking.”
Meanwhile, Kenjaku is seen reacting—not with panic, but with rare unease. He mutters:
“They went too deep into the shadow. And now something has noticed.”
Cut to deep underground—beneath the battlefield where Noya fell—a new cursed being begins to stir. We only see a silhouette, but the design is terrifying: bound by seals, held in place by centuries-old talismans and bones. A deep voice echoes:
“Who broke the stillness…?”
Back with Megumi, he suddenly clutches his chest—his shadow flickering unnaturally. Yuji looks on in shock as the ground momentarily quakes beneath them.
The final panel shows an ancient seal cracking—three glowing eyes and a twisted smile forming from darkness.
Chapter 104 is eerie, atmospheric, and sets the tone for what’s next. Gege Akutami doesn’t just end an arc—he opens a door to something far more ancient, and possibly, far more unstoppable
