Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 101: Father and Curse – Toji Fushiguro Battles Noya in a Brutal Showdown

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 101 delivers one of the most violent and emotionally charged chapters to date, as Toji Fushiguro—resurrected through Yuji’s talisman—faces off against the monstrous Noya in a cursed arena that feels more like a battlefield from hell.

The opening pages are ferocious. Noya, despite his cursed evolution, finds himself outmatched by Toji’s physical strength and uncanny instincts. Each punch from Toji distorts the air. Noya’s phased body, designed to evade most attacks, can’t escape Toji’s raw precision.

In a brutal reversal, Toji hurls Noya into the wreckage of a collapsed temple and slams him down with a cursed-suppressing spear. The impact alone splits the cursed terrain.

Meanwhile, Megumi watches, barely conscious, the sight of his father—who abandoned him,

who died in battle—now saving his life. It’s not just a fight to him—it’s a reckoning with his past.

Flashbacks begin to surface. We see glimpses of Megumi’s mother, an unknown sorcerer from the Zen’in clan, and fragments of truth hidden from him for years. Gojo’s words echo:
“Your strength didn’t start with you. It was passed down through pain.”

Yuji, recovering nearby, is torn between helping and watching the legend unfold. He realizes Toji’s return is temporary—and this moment is as much for Megumi as it is for survival.

The chapter ends on a cliffhanger. Noya, broken and enraged, unleashes a final transformation—his true cursed core awakened by fear,

while Toji prepares for a finishing blow.

Chapter 101 is Gege Akutami at his finest: balancing brutal combat, rich backstory, and emotional complexity, all while pushing the story toward its next, inevitable tragedy.
